Sake Fanatics & those who just want to learn about sake this event it for you. The Wild Ginger restaurant in Cool Springs will be hosting a Sake tasting and food pairings on THIS THURSDAY April 12 at 6:00PM. The event is hosted by Kusumi Kazunaga. I have had the opportunity to taste sake and learn from this master and trust me when I say it is WELL WORTH IT. Kusumi comes to Nashville from Wine of Japan. He was born in the Hyogo prefecture (you will learn about this at the event). If you google him, you will see in his younger days he was a professional downhill skier. Kusumi is a sake expert and will be able to transport you to Japan and right to the brewhouse.
The cost is ONLY $30/person – repeat $30/person for food and sake. There will also be cocktails made by Wild Ginger’s own bartender Chris Victory.
The Sake served at the event will be the following:
- Kitaya Ai No Hime White “Sparkling Sake”
- Kamaya Kyuzaemon “Junmai Ginjyo” (Aged in cedar casks)
- Bunraku Dress Bottle Puppet Show “Junmai Ginjyo”
- Tomio Junmai Dai Ginjyo (From Nigata & Uses Sacred Palace Water)
Don’t miss it.
