East Nashville Cocktail Crawl

On Sunday September 30th my company, PourTaste, is hosting the inaugural East Nashville Cocktail Crawl! Presented by Yelp and our lovely friends here at DrinkMusicCity, this homage to the art and craft of mixology will shine the light on bartenders, liquor representatives and producers on this one night event. After traveling to NOLA for Tales of the Cocktail and other cites, visiting their cocktail and spirit festivals, Lindsay and I wanted to create something for Nashvillians. We’ve been moved by cities such as Kansas City, who’s alcohol communities are just that, communities. Bartenders promoting each other, producers and others in the field really doing hand in hand business creating synergy, which, in turn, brings the national spotlight. Nashville has a lot going on in this field as well. With craft cocktails on a spread of menus across town, multiple distilleries, craft breweries, folks making their own bitters and so on, Nashville’s pump is primed for the masses to step back and be in awe of this city. Be proud! As the national spotlight adorns us month after month in our bustling food and beverage movement, DrinkMusicCity, Yelp and us are excited to showcase another fingerprint that, maybe….just maybe might supersede music as our only identity. With glasses raised and fingers crossed….
